Course Overview:
This 3-day intensive training program in partnership with the Supervision Training Services is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundations necessary to provide effective clinical supervision. The course focuses on supervision models, ethical considerations, communication skills, and practical applications to support the professional growth of supervisees.

Candidate Requirements for Enrolment in the ACA Clinical Supervision Training Program (3-Day Course)

1. Eligibility Criteria
To enroll in the Clinical Supervision Training Program, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

A. Professional Qualifications
• Must hold a minimum Diploma-level qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health discipline.
• Preferably registered with a recognized professional body such as the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or Australian Psychological Society (APS).
B. Professional Experience
• Minimum two (2) years of post-qualification counselling experience in a professional setting.
• Actively engaged in counselling, mental health, or therapeutic practice at the time of enrolment.
C. Supervision Experience (Mandatory)
• Candidates currently providing informal supervision or mentoring in their workplace will be given preference.
• Those seeking to transition into a clinical supervision role may also apply.
